Privacy Policy

Bitty is built so that we could write this policy in one sentence: your data stays with you, and we never see it. The rest of this page explains what that means in practice.

What we don't do

• No advertising, and no advertising SDKs.
• No analytics and no tracking of any kind. The app contains no third-party SDKs.
• No accounts, no sign-up, no email collection.
• No servers of ours. Bitty has no backend operated by us.
• We never sell, share or monetise data — we couldn't even if we wanted to, because we don't have it.

Where your data lives

Everything you log — feeds, sleep, diapers, measurements, events, your baby's name and birth date — is stored on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, the same data syncs through your own iCloud private database (Apple CloudKit) so it appears on your other devices. That database belongs to your Apple account; we have no access to it, technically or otherwise. Apple's handling of iCloud data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.

About your child's data

Bitty is an app for parents and caregivers. Information about your child is entered by you and stays under your control, on your device and in your iCloud, like everything else. The app is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We receive aggregated sales reports from Apple that contain no personal information.

Notifications

Reminders (feeding, sleep, weigh-ins) are scheduled locally on your device. They require your permission and can be turned off at any time in iOS Settings.

Deleting your data

Delete data inside the app, or delete the app to remove everything stored on the device. To remove synced data from iCloud: iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Bitty → Delete Data.

Changes

If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above before the change ships.
